Rhodesian African Rifles Badge

•This is an original RAR Beret Cap Badge from the Bush War era.

♧ The Rhodesian African Rifles (RAR) was a regular infantry regiment of the Rhodesian Army. Formed in May 1940, its enlisted ranks were composed of black native African soldiers, while most of its commissioned officers were of European decent. The unit fought in World War II, the Malayan Emergency, and the Rhodesian Bush War before being integrated into the new Zimbabwean military in 1981.
